Hi, I'm Dougie Muego. I'm an artist who lives in Locharbriggs, Dumfries. I was born in Renfrew, went to school in Paisley and got my diploma at GSA.
I recently had an exhibition of new paintings. The image on the left is from that show. A man was walking with the dog down Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow one evening, and how they moved got me got me interested.
With most landscapes, my paintings start when working outdoors directly from nature, picking up ideas as I go along, and the work continues in the studio.
